Workshop Description

Today, Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) and streaming multimedia are becoming a fact of life in many networks.  System administrators must now be familiar with a whole new set of technologies, terms, and acronyms.  Quality-of-Service (QoS) concerns that didn't exist a few years ago are now critical to optimizing network performance.  In this one-day seminar, you'll gain an understanding of the terms and techniques needed as you implement voice, video, and multimedia solutions on your network.  Designed as a vendor-neutral overview, this seminar includes convergence training, an overview of converged network equipment and protocols, and fundamentals of telephony training for I.T. professionals.
